Getting Bikini Ready AND Stronger
Mary is an experienced CrossFitter that came to us for help leaning out before an upcoming vacation to Mexico. An important stipulation for her though, was that she didn’t want to sacrifice her strength in the gym to accomplish her fat loss.
So, we worked with her to create a custom nutritional plan that accounted for her fat loss and strength goals as well as the obstacles that have held her back in the past: a sweet tooth, frequent meals out while traveling for work and lack of accountability.

During the 3 months we worked together, Mary lost over 16 lbs and PR’d her clean & jerk too!

What makes Mary’s results even more impressive is that she managed to accomplish them during the holiday months that included: Thanksgiving, Christmas AND New Years!
Our approach to nutrition coaching is to take a step back and look at each individual as a whole to discover their greatest opportunities for reaching their goals, nutritional or not.
In Mary’s case, to help stimulate fat loss, we saw an opportunity for her to make greater progress by improving her sleep quality and increasing her daily activity level. So, in addition to tracking her intake, we also had her collect movement and sleep data; we worked with her to optimize both and ultimately accelerate her fat loss.
